Workshop graduate a winner in wildlife photography contest

October 28, 2010: Nick Bryan, who graduated from my Comprehensive Photography Workshop in February this year has been selected as one of the winners in the National Wildlife Magazine Photo Contest in America.

Nick's spectacular photo of a lioness chasing a zebra in Africa will be published among the other winning entries in the December/January issue of the magazine.

Congratulations Nick!

International workshops have been launched

Following the successful pilot of the One Day Digital Photography Crash Course in Sydney in May 2010, and then in Erlangen, Germany, in September 2010, further classes were run in Sydney during February 2011. See my workshop web site for details:

September 15, 2009: Mike Siward participated in my photography workshop last Easter. And now his work has been published on the front page of today's South China Morning Post.

Mike's spectacular photograph of a lightning strike on The Centre is worthy indeed of its prominent place on the front page of Hong Kong's largest English language newspaper.

Congratulations, Mike!

Big win for my workshop student!

July 11, 2005: Andrea Oschetti, a student of my photography workshop in 2004, has won the Nikon Photo Contest International first prize in the Documentary category. Congratulations and very well done, Andrea!!

Andrea took the winning photograph while donating his time on a charitable assignment for the United Nations High Commission on Refugees. His good works deserve to be well rewarded.
